About PriceFrame
PriceFrame exists because SaaS pricing shouldn't require a research project. We break down what software actually costs — every tier, every hidden fee, every gotcha — so you can make informed decisions without talking to a sales team first.
How we research pricing
Every pricing breakdown on PriceFrame follows the same process:
- Official pricing pages — We start with the vendor's public pricing page and document every tier, price point, and feature limit.
- Help docs and knowledge bases — Many hidden fees (overage charges, add-on costs, onboarding fees) are only documented in help articles. We dig these up.
- User reports — We check G2 reviews, Reddit threads, and community forums for real-world cost experiences that don't match the marketing page.
- Regular verification — Every pricing data point includes a "last verified" date. We re-check pricing quarterly and after any reported changes.
How we make money
Transparency is our thing, so here's exactly how PriceFrame earns revenue:
- Affiliate commissions — When you click a link to a software product and sign up, we may earn a commission from that company. This never costs you extra.
- Display advertising — We show non-intrusive ads on our pages.
Importantly: affiliate relationships do not influence our pricing data or recommendations. We cover the same pricing details for every tool, whether or not they have an affiliate program. Our recommendations are based on value for money, not commission rates.
What we don't do
- We don't accept payment for higher rankings or better reviews.
- We don't fabricate pricing data — every number is sourced from public pages.
- We don't pretend to have used every tool — we're pricing researchers, not product reviewers.
- We don't hide our affiliate relationships — every page includes a clear disclosure.
